JS-F SERIES · AUTONOMOUS FORKLIFT

Moving, racking, stacking and loading pallets

Pallet movers, stackers, reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts: nine models from 1.4 to 2 t, from horizontal pallet transport to lifting to 8.5 m. 3D vision finds the fork openings, how far the pallet is turned and how high it is, and the forklift adjusts its approach automatically.

POSITIONING

Materials on pallets call for an autonomous forklift

For horizontal transport only, a pallet mover; for racking, a stacker or reach truck depending on the height; for loads placed close together on the floor or for loading trucks, a counterbalance forklift. Racks with an open underside that are moved whole are better handled by underride robots.

KEY MODELS

Six common models across the four types

JS-F1500-SPC
JS-F1500-SPC Pallet mover

Autonomous pallet mover

Lifts pallets off the floor for horizontal transport, without stacking; for three-runner pallets, floor storage transfers and pallet delivery to lines.

Payload1500 kg
Lift90–200 mm
PalletThree-runner / nine-block
Dimensions1721×868×1737 mm
JS-F2000-SPT
JS-F2000-SPT Perimeter-base pallet

Pallet mover for perimeter-base pallets

A pallet mover for perimeter-base pallets: its wheels retract while picking up and lower once inside, so it handles pallets that standard pallet movers cannot enter.

Lift110–200 mm
PalletPerimeter-base
Dimensions1924×931×1730 mm
JS-F1400-SSC
JS-F1400-SSC Stacker

Autonomous stacker

Lifts pallets onto racks. Lift stroke 90 to 1,600 mm, up to 3,500 mm; right-angle stacking aisle 2,340 mm (1200 × 1200 pallet).

Autonomous stacker

A 2-tonne stacker. Lift stroke 2,500 mm, up to 4,500 mm; right-angle stacking aisle 2,800 mm (1200 × 1200 pallet).

Payload2000 kg
Lift2500 mm (max 4500)
Aisle2800 mm
Dimensions2120×1100×2250 mm
JS-F1400-SRC
JS-F1400-SRC Reach truck

Autonomous reach truck

The forks extend forwards; reach trucks are the choice for high racking in narrow aisles.

Aisle2600 mm
Weight2100 kg
JS-F2000-SCC
JS-F2000-SCC Counterbalance

Autonomous counterbalance forklift

A counterweight at the rear and no support legs: it picks up loads placed close together on the floor and loads trucks, and takes both pallet types, but needs more space and wider aisles.

Standard pallet movers take only three-runner pallets (nine-block pallets count as three-runner): the wheels under the forks must reach under the pallet, and a perimeter-base pallet is closed all round at the bottom. For perimeter-base pallets, the dedicated JS-F2000-SPT raises its wheels while picking up and lowers them once inside. Counterbalance forklifts have no support legs and take both types, but need more space and wider aisles.

QUICK REFERENCE

Seven typical situations

{{ s.case }} {{ s.pick }}

Choose the lift height for the highest rack position. Oversizing for a possible future increase often costs more and brings limitations everywhere, and the higher the lift, the more conservative the load must be.

CHARGERS

High-current and low-current chargers must not be mixed. The number usually follows a rule of thumb: a quarter of the number of vehicles for one shift, a third for two shifts and a half for continuous three-shift operation, with at least 2.

FAQ

Questions we are asked most

Autonomous forklift or underride robot?

It depends how the materials are held. Pallets call for autonomous forklifts; racks moved whole call for underride lifting. Where there are both, one dispatch system manages them together.

Can it handle steel cages?

Its 3D vision recognises wooden pallets, plastic pallets and steel cages. For cage trolley flows in parcel and e-commerce operations with 1,800 mm aisles, use the JS-U0800-SLF cage trolley robot, whose omnidirectional chassis picks up and sets down directly without reversing.

How should the lift height be set?

By the highest rack position, without oversizing for a possible future increase; a higher lift means a more conservative load. A requirement such as “lift 8 m and carry 1.5 t” is often a combination of worst cases: put heavy goods low and light goods high; use one model for 6 to 8 m and standard products below 6 m, with the dispatch system assigning tasks in batches.

Can the two chargers be mixed?

No. In the 24 V forklift series, pallet movers use the JS-CHR-ACE2750-SR and stackers and larger models the JS-CHR-ACE27100-SR; high-current and low-current chargers must not be mixed.

What if a ramp is too steep?

Fully loaded forklifts need gradients within 3%. Where a ramp is steeper, it can be lengthened and made gentler with a non-slip surface, or that position can use a different docking method that avoids the ramp; which one is set out in the proposal after the survey.

Our pallets are black or stainless steel. Will they work?

Generally yes, but an extra algorithm tuning step is needed, with its time and cost listed separately in the proposal. If possible, send a couple of photos first so our engineers can assess it.

NEXT STEP

Send the highest bay, the aisle width and the pallet type

Those three decide the vehicle type. Add trips per hour and the shift pattern, and we can work out the number of vehicles and chargers.

TO QUOTE THIS, WE NEED

  • 01Pallet or load type, and weight per lift
  • 02Highest racking level or stacking height you need
  • 03Aisle width and racking layout drawings
  • 04Trips per hour, shift pattern and traffic in the aisles
  • 05Charging location and the power supply available
