Sizing and specification
Three steps to a model
First: how the materials are held
On racks moved whole: underride lifting, chosen by weight between 50 and 4,000 kg; racks with crossbars underneath: the JS-U1200-DLF underride fork; on pallets: autonomous forklifts; in totes that go into rack positions: the JS-U0300-DLW tote robot; sideways transfer with conveyors: the JS-U0400-DNR roller transfer robot; cage trolleys in parcel and e-commerce operations: the JS-U0800-SLF; your own top module: the expandable chassis.
Second: what it weighs
Choose by the total weight of materials plus carrier, with a margin of 15% to 20% so that drive wheels and lifting units last longer. Oversizing for a possible future increase often costs more and brings limitations everywhere.
Third: whether the site takes it
Three dimensions decide most of the selection: aisle width (can it pass and turn), lifting height (can it reach) and entry space (the clearance under the rack or in the pallet fork openings), and all three must be met. For underride robots, check the space under the rack against the rotation diameter, not just length and width.
Also check
Doors and lifts; floor slope, gaps and steps; special requirements such as cleanliness, explosion protection, low temperature, dust or static. Finally the network: signal strength, packet loss and roaming handover time are measured by our engineers during the survey.
