Training and the trial run
Operators
Operators and team leaders: how the robot behaves, daily checks, start-up and shutdown, emergency stop and recovery, the call button, how to report, what is forbidden. Half a day, weighted to safety.
Maintenance
Maintenance staff: routine and periodic servicing, on-site fault handling, parts replacement, charger upkeep, code replacement, alarm meanings. One to two days, hands on.
Administrators
System administrators and process engineers: monitoring, tasks, devices and maps in the scheduler, parameter meanings, log export, upper-system interfaces, dashboards. One to two days.
Trial run
A week or more covering a full production cycle including peaks and shift changes. Daily records of volume, completion, exceptions, average task time and manual interventions; every issue classified as equipment, configuration, site or management, with an owner and a date, all closed before acceptance.
Name the trainees and keep the record. The usual failure is that the people trained are not the people who end up operating the machines, which wastes the training entirely.
