Standard products are normally delivered within 45 working days, as stated in the contract. Three things need to start early: floor modifications must be finished before mapping, because a changed floor means a new map; interfaces to third-party lifts, automatic doors, conveyors and machines take time to coordinate and should start at kick-off; and the wireless network must be measured to specification, because problems found only at commissioning are costly to fix.
