Charging and scheduling

Deployment and maps

The server runs on its own machine, on the same wireless network or LAN/VPN as the robots it schedules. Single-server and distributed deployment are both supported.

Item Requirement
Disk More than 256 GB
Operating system Ubuntu desktop, version per the deployment package
Network Server and robots on one LAN or VPN; cable the server
Power A UPS is recommended
Sizing Three bands: up to 10 machines, 10–100, and 100–500

A map carries seven kinds of point: waypoints, workstations, chargers, rest positions, docking points, roller points and buffer positions. Rest positions are the ones most often overlooked: an idle robot with nowhere to go simply stops where its last task ended, and in time the aisles fill up. Every area needs enough of them, clear of the main route.
