A map carries seven kinds of point: waypoints, workstations, chargers, rest positions, docking points, roller points and buffer positions. Rest positions are the ones most often overlooked: an idle robot with nowhere to go simply stops where its last task ended, and in time the aisles fill up. Every area needs enough of them, clear of the main route.
