Certificates and reports
CE certificate
The original covers MD, EMC and RED. The certificate is supplied with the project; test reports are normally retained for reference.
EMC report
Electromagnetic compatibility testing for automated handling equipment.
Other markets
Korea KC and Japan VCCI. Australia and New Zealand require C-TICK for EMC and RF plus AS/NZS 4024.1204 machinery safety, followed by RCM registration through a local agent.
Cleanroom report
Required where the machine enters a cleanroom.
Battery transport
UN38.3 test report, MSDS, dangerous-goods classification and a transport certificate — sea and land (3480 / 3556) or air. A machine shipped with its battery is declared as the machine (3556); a battery alone as the battery (3480). Both certificates expire, so check they cover the delivery date.
Certification sits in the lead time — the Australian and New Zealand set takes about a month with registration. Run it in parallel with production so the machine and the paperwork finish together.
